Both Will and myself were a bit baffled by my high torque figure on a stage 1.
I suppose all cars are different from factory also.
My BHP was a little low, so you win some, you lose some.
Yours WILL be a beast soon. ;)

As it went after ALOT of clutch use - was stuck in stop start traffic for 40mins this morning. Look me 40mins to do 4 miles. And it was ok to begin with, just after a lot of moving on the clutch, it started to make noises.

Get a bike and ride to work:whistle: save you some miles and fuel. Sorry to hear all the problems, but as many people have said it will all be sorted soon and then you will have one quick Ibiza!!!

Has your dad got FULL AA/RAC membership cause he could stop and call them to relay him to P-torque. Just an Idea.

deffo keep the car fella wil be so worth it when done trust me!

Hope so fella! I want it as good as yours! I wont be happy until it's running the same as yours...

Nothing worth doing is easy.

I spose....*sighs*

The Ibiza does have recovery yes. Think we could be using it anyway!

Right, the car goes back to P-Torque tomorrow to HOPEFULLY be sorted.

This is not a dig at anyone or anything that has been said - but this is to prove that nearly 380ft/lb IS acheivable on stock injectors. Not necessarily saying it's good or safe for the car (as I'm not a mechanic/mapper so can't tell you) - but it is possible.

Right - this was one map from my mate's Ibiza. This was on standard KKK turbo!

Stage2.jpg

201bhp and 358ft/lb on standard KKK turbo.

Then when he went hybrid:

Stage3.jpg

377ft/lb of torque. On hybrid turbo.

As said - this isn't to have a dig at anyone. But to prove that it IS possible more than anything and to clear up any arguments/confusion.

in all fairness though at peak he has 377lbft but at 4250rpm where his max power is he has less torque than me, when i had my car rollered with a boost leak.
and that run i had with the boost leak i lost 12bhp and 80lbft torque which is around 55lbft difference at 4250rpm compared to the non boost leak run
if that makes any sence lol

so i guess i saying i have less torque up until 3.5k but then i have more torque from there on lol

As strugers said, if I'm correct strugers produces 355 and it holds torque very well only loosing 20ftlb across the rev range, Ibiza130 I bet yours peaks torque at 330 and still producing roughly 300-310 right at the end of the revs, this would be better than peaking at say 370 and then only producing 250ftlb at the end of the revs ;)

I doubt that a standard KKK turbo could produce such results however as Strugers said and I have explained many times in other threads - its power of the range no peak figures.

380LB/FT is possible with a hybrid turbo - I for one achieved this figure at AmD a few times.

If thats the case, then does that not say something about the results priduced on Wills rollers too then? Was it not only a few weeks back, that Air121005 made 199.4bhp, also on a KKK turbo, running a P-torque map.

By no means is this a dig at Will, but if he can make these figures then why is the graph provided a doubtable figure?

Just to clarify a couple of things, the above graph @201bhp, was on T.Sparks car. He ran this setup for perhaps only a month, and its needless to say the turbo was knackered when removed. It was just a "what can it actually do" kind of thing.

You quite right, let me clarify.

I dont doubt its running that sort of power. However running that power on a remap that isnt design to kill off the turbo in a month isnt a good idea so should not be used as a base to make a good analysis.

EDIT: I forgot to add T.Sparks is the only 130pd anyone has seen running those figures so it makes you wonder the validity of them.
