really easy just use a hair dryer to heat the glue then gently pull them off
afterward give it a polish up and done!:p

Best free mod you can do lol.

I used boiling water from a kettle to take mine off. Was very simple just had to keep going back to fill it up and re-boil it! Getting the last bits of glue off was the hardest bit but I imagine using a bug and tar remover would have made it a doddle.

Boiling water and some string to slide behind the lettering
Then tcut (if you dare) or bug/tar remover to get rid of the excess

Should get a bra on the FR next, would really set it off nice

Kenny... you're a right eager beaver lol! Taking pictures at 5:47am

Nice! You can put a LHD rear foglight (white) to get symetric...

But then there would be no foglight atall! You can however, get a LHD fog light cluster and have matching red. Another advantage of that, is you can fiddle the wiring to the fog lights and make them come on as side lights too ;) [B)]

I would do this to mine but would be worried about rippled filler spoiling the look - especially with it being black. Yours looks good though! :)

Bargin i payed a lot more than that £150 for the tailgate then another £100 for the smoothing and painting. Well worth it in the end though. Hopefully ill also have a miltek soon just trying to
find a decent priced one.

Its one of those love it or hate it mods I think thats why very few have done it
to the mk4. It looks a bit out of place at the moment as its pritty standard looks
wise hopefully the next few mods will sort that out.

cheers for the feedback guys!:)

I really like the smooth tailgate, but I think the rear end would look better if you smoothed out the reflecters in the bumper like i've done....just an idea :)

Rest of the car looks mint too
