Not sure how your wheels will fit but make sue you have the tread inside the arch and the wheel less than 30mm outside to be legal. (been readin up on this!! )

good site isnt it, found it on a local vag club

Thanks for the info guys i just hope there not going to be too wide
and as for tyres i think its between the standard 225 or 215 that
i will go for.

Though if it causes major rubbing then they will have to be sold as the car
has been perfect so far.:D

Hey hey managed to get the tt wheels back to a nearlly original standard
took ages and 2 tubes of autosol lol also managed to get them wrapped in
pirrelli rubber ready for the good weather.

Was wondering though ive had the seat sport strut brace for a while and never
fitted it due to being lazy so is it easily fitted and will it put my coilovers out of
alignment?Any help is great!

cheers.:p

Nope. A strut brace doesn't move your struts or affect them in anyway (fitting wise anyway) so it'll be fine to fit. All it does it stops your struts from flexing as much when giving it the beans round the corners! ;)

cool so whats the purpose of the three bolt on each strut
do they not hold anything in place?

Yeh - the strut!

But removing them, putting the strut brace on and refitted the bolts will affect nothing as the strut won't move while you're doing this. Unless you're stupid enough to either jack the car up or drive it with the bolts out or anything.

Hey guys bit fed up with the progress my cars having at the moment
so looking to find out what you all think the next mods/improvements
should be, for the time being the 2009 plans are;

slight tint on the windows,
paint the engine parts,
fit the tt comps,
fix headlight due to condensation,
milltek exhaust,
smooth rear bumper reflectors.

So if theres anything you think i could add/missed feel free to let me know.:D
