Twin Cold Air Feed optimisation
------
Well I received all my galvanised steel parts now for my twin cold air feed. Unfortunately doesn't all fit together so I am waiting for some FEMALE connectors to turn up tomorrow.

The aim of this optimisation is to retain the 4" feed into the airbox. Currently I have 2x 3" feeds going into the 4" feed.

Jon, why all the metal on the cold air... are you using the panel filter ?

Looks like parts of a mincer...

The splitter I am using for the twin cold air feed is plastic and doesn't look nice. Also the places where i sourced the plastic parts from doesn't have the specific requirements I need to make it work so I luckily found a place that does galvanised steel parts to enable me to replace and improve the twin cold air feed. I finally got the all the parts today but might have to do some welding to make it all fit.

On Saturday I decided to change to a different panel filter to a Pipercross.

Was really a small experiment to see if the sound of my induction changed from the Green Panel Filter. Noise is slightly different - i have really noticed any differences in smoothness or performance. What I did like about the pipercross is that it wont clog up as easy as the green is it is not "ridged".

Tomorrow I should be receiving lots of cleaning stuff as a birthday present from the mrs, mainly Meguiars G220 machine polisher and Menzerna polishes! Also this Saturday I booked some ramp time to get the car up and tweak my twin cold air feed.
