Forge Carbon Catch Tank has now been ordered :D

SFS FMIC Red hose kit ordered.
SFS TIP ordered.
Audi R8 oil cap installed.

Good lad :)

Can't believe how shitty my catch can pipes are already.....the pipe from the CCV to the catch can is slightly oiled up, but the pipe from the catch can to the filter is gacky as hell!

Well you persuaded me when you said that when you touched the engine it was noticeably cooler.

Guessing installation is pretty straight forward?

Cool!

Will be interesting to hear your opinions on both products.
Cheers! :)

A word of warning for people buying the forge catch tank. The silcone hose that comes with the kit is not suitable for TDIs. I therefore went and got a oil grade hose that can take extreme heat so less prone to degrading in the engine bay. It is also black therefore looks quite OE and will hide the gunk :)

Oh and I also order a forge EGR blanking plate too, that's getting fitted on Friday also.

Hi, I should have some more updates / pictures on Friday.

Friday I "should" have SFS piping and forge catch tank on.

hurry up and get it on lol, btw mate, im prob not going to do much more, have had a well sh!t day with the car tpday, some inconsiderate builder must have dropped a brick off the back of his lorry a few mins before i went down, well put it this way, my wheel is unrepairable, and worse of all, inovite have discontinued them, plus the bolt that holds my injector down has someone come loose out of its hole, and the hole is rounded somehow, so got to retap the hole tommorow and hopefully that will do it.
so for me now, fix the injector, get new alloy and then r bumper and thats it for a while and then ill decide what to do

Only problem is going to be a the colour. Like I say modding isnt a race but you done well with yours. Next step is big turbo and intercooler surely. AmD done quite a few recently and got really good gains.

its knocked me back a bit today, well the wheel wasnt to bad, as i can probably get it replaced, but it was as soon as i got home and then loud blowing noise from the engine appeared, i was like what the hell, popped bonnet and the injector wasnt fully down and blowing. so i inspected it to be the bolt has somehow come free, because the hole it does in is rounded off, weird. So not car until tommorow hopefully.
As you say its not a race, so ill get this done and alloy, my mum is giving me some money for christmas, so R bumper its got to be. And then who knows, but if anything, the next stage of modding will be a forge fmic next year. just today knocked me back a bit, and i thought, is it really worth it, but after chatting with dad he said do one thing at a time, what you are trying to do is rush and its not the way., like you said. Modding aint a race. But fingers cross the hole can be retapped tommorow
