I have ordered an inline Walbro fuel pump with wiring harness from USRT - £160 shipped via Fedex int. priority delivery, so should be here by around Wednesday. I'll fit it either in place of the filter (and put filter in engine bay) or in the engine bay where the screenwash tank came out of.

Main reasons for fitting this is reliability and performance, my stock pump is now 7 years old and has been running at 4-BAR for around 2 years, plus the uprated performance for trackdays and peace of mind.

Ok here's some pics. The Tig-Art manifold:

Density Line mounts:

I went for the street density engine mounts (50 durometer) and track density dogbone mount (80 durometer).

New parts from VW also arrived too for re-mounting the turbo:

All I'm waiting on is the Nord-lock washers, manifold paint and Forge coolant hoses - then I can start to rebuild!

Are those screws fitted before it's assembled, Rob?

They're studs m8, you can't fit bolts in from above so you have to use studs and nuts, the studs will go into the turbo first. It will have to be assembled on the bench, not on the car.

I won't be using those studs though as CR Turbos sent me better ones with the turbo, so it will be studded with CRT studs and K nuts.

Are they smaller diameter than the theaded holes in the turbo?

I'm obviously wrong, but I didn't think that the holes in the turbine housing went all the way through.........

They don't - screw the studs into the turbo first then slide the gasket and manifold on top of the studs and do up the nuts?

This is what I need this extreme temp thread lock for, so far only INA has it.
