the higher your excess the lower your premium usually. Seems bad though if you only have a little dink in the car.

Back at home now Adam, so will have to organise a little mini meet :p

if your car has modifications u should seriously ring Adrian flux. The more u mod it, potentially the cheaper it gets. I'm now paying £450 odd all in Inc. Break down cover and £100 excess! I can have as many non-engine mods as I and and it won't increase, jus have to tell them what I done. All claimed parts get replaced like for like!

Just decided to give the car a quick was, and whilst backin it back onto the drive, I decided to see how much clearance I have at the front. The drive is on a very SLIGHT gradient.

I never use those compare sites now, always give poor quotes. Probably find the non commercial insurers will give you a cheaper quote, although kwik-fit aren't too bad. Well if you get alloys and coilovers, thats classed as modifying so they will be a better bet!

Adriun flux do have a good reputation, though all quotes are so individual it could be v different for someone living even in an identical area with same NCB etc, weird like that.

Mat, that looks well low even if its on a gradient. You still just 40mm lowered?

yep, still 40mm. like i said, it's the SLIGHTEST of gradients :D just enough to make the water trickle off the drive and towards the grate

if you put 12 gallons in your tank first then yeh :p

if you remember how many litres it says youve put in, reset the mile clock, then do miles divided by those litres converted into gallons.

What nev said.

Fill up to first click. Reset clock, drive around. When it comes to filling again, fill to the first click again and make a note of the litres and mileage done :D

360 sounds ok if your town / motorway driving. pure motorway driving i have had 450 out of a tank.. but that was being veyr good at sticking at 65.
