new clutch probably soon now you said that traumapat, its allways the way lol, you probably jynxed yourself. anyway a stage 2 on a lcr should be findon oem clutch, its just the diesels that really need new clutches due to the high torque levels
Thats good to hear m8im still on original clutch. and thats had 320lbs/ft running through it for over a year
Hi, I'm getting my 2002 Seat Leon Tdi S remapped tomorrow by Angel tuning. The figures on their web site claim a bhp increase of up to 35bhp which is well and good, but my main concern like many others on here is the effect that the remap might have on the clutch. Standard figures suggest the car has around 155lbs/ft of torque and the remap claims it can increase this to 210Ibs-ft.
My question is, would the standard clutch on the 90bhp be able to handle 210Ibs-ft? I know the 110, 130 and 150 engines can obviously handle the higher torque output, but is clutch the 90bhp version the same as the 110?
Thanks
Ian
Or. You're having your cake and eating it. Except the normal cake has full butter icing, which will make you fat and ill, and yours has a sprinkling of icing sugar.
It does the job, but it's not the real deal
you two stop willy waving...
or i`ll get mine out
and I didn't even say anything.... :innocent:
i couldnt have ment you. your a bit of a non starter in that area
sounds a sensible plan re clutch first. might be an idea to ring jabba/cc/ pwer tourque ect.. and ask what they rate your clutch at.. then get it mapped under that level....
but then if you want all out power.......
anyother waving competions and i`ll let you know
But I'm sure I can find a bunch of people on here that reckon their remapped 150tdi or LCR - "JUST WHIPPED AN M3, AND I COULD SEE HIS FACE, HE WAS TRYING"
