Sorry for the miscommunication Ben--hope all is sorted now :)

FYI: Those interested in taking advantage of the deal above who currently have software from another tuner, you will need to present proof of purchase from your current flash to your APR distributor or at APR HQ to activate these special prices.

Cheers Evan ;)
I have just contacted Awesome, thanks for the help :)

£250 to switch from REVO to APR???!!! How annoying, when I rang APR I was told £300.00 even though I confirmed I had REVO. It was on that basis that I decided to pay the additional £150.00 to upgrade to stage 2+ with REVO as it would cost me £100.00 less than APR. I was really hoping to give APR a go but having to pay another £250.00 now would just not make any financial sense to me. What a pity..................

You contacted APR and we quoted £300 to switch? When?

I can't remember Evan. It was a while ago when all this hype was being drummed up. It aint a train smash. I will see if I start having issues with me REVO software and if I have to pay for the change I will. Just can't do it now and reading the review here has made me think about it that much more. I have had my fair share of issues with REVO in the past when I had my boc and the misfire issues with no support from them at all.

If anyone switches from Bluefin Stg1 to APR let me know what you think, i've had to take my map off as it was too much for the clutch in 4th/5th/6th where the clutch would slip under acceleration. Its all good on the standard map.

Yeah I had mixed price feedback from them when I was trying to decide the next step like you, until poverty pointed out the £250 deal offer on a mk5gti forum thread. For me in particular though the Customer service i received from APR at the time was pretty poor, so I decided to upgrade with REVO.

Looks like they are operating better now though.

Well bluefin is probably the most conservative map going so changing to APR isnt gonna solve your clutch issues.

I found the stg1 map quite aggressive with its delivery, it was almost standard in feel upto 3500ish when it took off, in contrast the Jabbasport map we have on the TT is very smooth and deceptive in terms of speed.

Understood. Sorry for the miscommunication guys; The price offered in this thread is completely new for the community so that may be why some people are confused.

Northern Ireland: Limavady
sniperftw,

Great review there mate and like you say excellent results!

Can you please try and find out when or if APR will be setting up a franchise in Northern Ireland, because we never get any good high end tuners over here :(

The result is you can either go with an independant re-mapping specialist or like myself Superchips Bluefin (not the best but better than a standard car).

APR is always open to recommendations for businesses with exceptional customer service and knowledge. Please PM me names of local VAG specialists and I'll pursue them as potential distributors.

To avoid derailing this thread, if anybody has any further questions about APR, our distirbutors or products, please don't hesitate to PM me and I'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible
