Car starts fine when i first start it in the morning. After a few short journies it struggles to start, will crank a few times then not start. Had it looked at by a frw mechanics, was showing a fan and radiator fault which apparently aren't big deals and don't need fixed and they were showing long before the starting issue began.
There was a throttle body code flagging so the mechanic fixed that but starting issue wasn't fixed.
Another mechanic plugged it in and told me it wasn't cranking long enough for it to flag any errors.
It always starts eventually but sometimes can take 6/7 attempts. Recently I've started holding the throttle down while cranking it and it seems to start a bit easier that way. (Although i suspect that it isn't good for the car).
It's coming up on 5 years of me owning the car and i've haven't changed the timing belt so i'm thinking that could potentially be it but don't want to fire a load of money at it if it might not fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated!
