i think the issue maybe with-in the rack. found that a rod end has a small amount of play so gonna try that 1st.

cant see that making the steering light tho...?

if i still get probs wen my old rack is on i will start asking Qs. fingas crossed it sorts it!!??

just trying to sort steering.

it seems stiffer when i turn left but feels good at 20mph....40mph+ it goes light when turning right the same when 5mph and less...even at stand still

could it be the pressure switch? anyone know?

Hooch, I had a very similar problem on a Renault. Steering would feel stiff on one side sometimes, then light. Every combination. The dealers said it needed a new rack. I decided I'd get my rack refurbed. I was taking it out when I discovered the inboard joints on the tie rods were knackered. Turned out they were a replaceable part, too.

I think the joint is part of the tie rod on the Ibiza. I'd look for damage on the inner end joint.

Lovely shot of your bonnet, BTW

no idea how this happened but my n75 was in the wrong way round again...? i must have got confused way i was changing it back and forth with my last problem!

so i put it right and im now hitting over 30psi and its popping and backfiring loads. not delivering the power smooth either!?

so im currenlty unning it unplugged to avoid the serious overboosting!

any ideas? is the unsmooth power due to the overboosting?

cheers

Who's mapped the car for you?

What power and torque levels are you running now?

You doing any trackdays?

What FMIC are you using?
