Would you recommend the MK4?

Hi all

I'm in the market for a new car and I as I don't want a car with a wet belt there isn't many options. I test drove the Leon a few days ago and it drove really well but I had heard about the issues with the infotainment system.

Would you guys recommend the MK4 ? Have the issues been fixed with updates?

Once all of the available updates have been carried out (not just the infotainment), they're fantastic cars

Great thanks for the reply hopefully it has been updated as the car has full Seat service history

What is the deal with Full link? Does this cost money?

Am I right in thinking this is how to connect android auto?

I'm in the UK if it makes and difference

Full dealer history doesn't mean much these days. My A8 had a full Audi history and was even a demonstrator at first. Upon taking delivery, it hadn't had a single update performed in 4 years. The updates were available very early on and solved most of the annoyances

Full Link is standard in the UK I believe, yes it's Android Auto and Apple Carplay

An indication would be the infotainment software. That’s about all you can check without diagnostics

Going by the photo in the first post the infotainment is running on the second to last update? 1940?

And I should be able to update to 1969 over the air?
