I've got a 2003 LCR and I pay around £400 for the year, thats with 6 years NCB and I am 31. Thats with Direct Line, but I changed my car from a Civic Type R, 3 quarters of the way through the 12 month cover. So I am stopping with them to get my 7th year NCB.
I have been checking on Moneysupermarket.com and have received some decent quotes, the cheapest being RAC £
280 but theres no monthly plan, you can either pay it all at once or in 2 installments. It also brought up some decent quotes off Sainsburys and a few more supermarkets ( £350 ish ).. I tried Confused.com but they were expensive.
I got told when I reached 25 years old, my insurance would drop
. But this was not true, it has only started to lower when I reached the big 30. Keep plugging away and you will eventually find a decent quote.
Good luck.
