Aye, dropped him a email and said you recommended me ;)

Going to get a intake for it first them get it mapped :D

Was going to say the proper intakes on them make all the difference, not tempted by turbo-back and fuel pump too? Haha

I'm off back next Saturday, think he's deleting the maf sensor out and I'm gonna sort a delete pipe hopefully. Said he reckons he can get abit more out of it then, especially with the newsouth gasket and standard airbox etc back on. Will see!

Just a pipe to stick in it's place if I don't need it in sorta thing. Will just have to get a length of pipe the right diameter then get alistair to weld me a bracket on so it can bolt to the standard airbox.

And by work off, I meant the standard gasket will just give him like a template to work from then can copy it right over to your inlet mani :)

Hoping for around 230 Paul, just need the map adjusting as the rolling road graph would probs look like a roller coaster at the mo, keeps backing the boost off towards top end, not sure if it's the map or something else!

i brought the wot box with launch control so all good now :)

Mad man! I wanted one so bad, may still do in the future mind! You got a decat on yours? Too much launch control and wot shifting will blow the cat out the exhaust otherwise :p

hi scott yeah got blueflame decat and i see what mean about using gasget to bore it out then do the same on the manifold so they meet in the same place, ( i think thats what mean)

i got mine for 220 dollard delivered, seen video on youtube of the wotbox workin and lots of flames and pops :) love the sound of no lag beetween gear changes,

and i hope map gets sorted, you getting high egt which is then telling ecu to back off?

Yeh that's what I meant mate, always helps then doesn't have to keep measuring it as much and makes marking out easier :)

Yeh the videos look mental! Think I'll get one one day just for the bangs in between gears! Can't wait to see what your cars like when it's done.

Yeh the maf is maxing out, he reckons. Went out with it unplugged and was doing the same thing so not sure tbh. Will let him have a look. Literally get to 6krpm in 3rd and it backs off then comes on again, maybe to 6.5krpm then you hear it drop all boost off and even if you have your foot to the floor it's as if your just coasting in gear. Does it about 4krpm in 4th too then comes back on and carries on. Won't be driving it all week then it's getting looked at Saturday again so hopefully will be perfect!

He said once he first done it it was backing off slightly but reckoned that was the cone filter so advised to change that. It's all changed now and newsouth gasket so shouldn't be doing it. So just needs figuring out. Trust him to suss it right away!

Maxing the MAF out!! I dont think so, Scott.

What is your max g/s (MAF readign)?

I was pushing a average 185-190g/s and others have managed to push 200g/s on the k03s (180bhp MAF)...

Just another restriction in the system. Seen people go through the hassle of cutting the mesh etc out, when you can just map it out, then not need it in at all. Plus if that's what's holding mine back with johns map then all the more reason to get it out. Will just have to see what the diagnosis is saturday

The little k03s is not man enough to be even thinking of deleting the MAF. Not something I would do mate..

If it's easy enough and causes no problems then don't see why not. Will see what the crack is Saturday anyway :) Plus if I end up going k03s hybrid will save me pennies and effort getting the s3 maf and modding it to fit in the tip. Will just need the injectors and possibly 4 bar fpr, then the map tweaked of course

Nah mate i always let her warm up first before i start tanning it really strict on that i think i was the last to leave the car park but must of been the first one in my house it was a good 12 miles of driving that night hadnt had it out in a week so needed it! Lost my splitter the other day hit a speed bump didnt realise it was so high  dunno wether to put another on i saw somewhere in this thread that your not gonna bother, personally i think it looks good but ive got to get this manifold sorted first before i go start spending money on other mods :(

I Scott those mk5's are rapid and especially when there mapped i reckon shug will give me a really close race hard to say who will take it! I have all the rear seats and carpets out mine sounds ammense  goes bush in 3rd sometimes get a double pop :p

Yeh I let my warm up and cool down everytime, dead anal about it!

I don't think the mk5's seem that quick standard, can imagine they are mapped though! Couldn't get on with dsg everyday though. Still can't wait to see the new polo gti when that comes out!
