It really seems to be holding it together so it won't boosts away... It's hard to put a clip on there.Had a look at the pcv system i removed from my car today.
Its looking ok but will replace a few hoses and need to figure out what the cable ties are for. The valve works so hoping the cable ties aren't holding it together.

Sometime last year I posted a photo of the pcv and a list of part numbers.Just been looking at the pcv system im going to be putting back on my car as the continued emptying of the catch tank is doing my head in.

This is what i have to refit.
Just ordered a silicone hose kit to tidy it up.
Im not liking the look of this T piece? Anyone know where i can get one from or part number?
Also is the item in the second pic part of the T piece or a separate item?

Do the valves wear out or do they seem to last? The Creations replacement hose comes with the T piece built in
Lower PCV Breather Pipe For (1.8T) VAG Cars (AUM / AUQ / APY / AMK / BAM)

There's valve inside you need to transfer across to the new pipe.
This is also the most common pipe to split so worth getting a replacement.
I reused mine - it's just a spring in a tube and fairly easy to clean.Do the valves wear out or do they seem to last?
The valve was something i was thinking of buying from the dealers.
Also, have you used one of these hoses? Fitment quality?
