Had the N/s/f spring break while at my parents place in cornwall. Absolute pain in the ass to get the shock out of the hub housing and just as hard getting it back in once the spring was replaced. Not the way I planned to spend the weekend.
Finally got around to sorting the vacuum leak that I’ve had since I bought the car 7 months ago! I suspected it was part of the pcv system under the inlet, luckily I was right. Now idles properly and seems to hold boost much better

the place didn’t have 6x4 oval slash , so it was between 5x4 flat oval cut or a slightly rounder slash cut. I quite like the slash cut chosen. Ignore the confetti on the car, no weddings just a stupid tree in my street.

No mate, brand new from the dealer they are £450. I managed to find one on Ebay that had been sat on a parts shelf for 15 years still in the original unopened VAG packaging, the guy let me have it for £150.
Saved a lot of hassle as because it was in 'virgin mode' it had no PIN or mileage and i was able to code the odometer to match my orignal mileage just using VCDS. As i'm sure you know, retrieving the PIN and adjusting the mileage on a used cluster (using VAG tacho or similar) is a bit of a ball ache.

Gave her a good detail today between rain and a little photoshoot. Anyone got a good way of ridding chips? got loads on the bonnet.

For coil overs mate give GAZ a call. They can make to your spec of what you want and they are really helpfull

Thanks bud, its a custom 2.5" catback. The place didnt have bigger oval slash tips but i actually am not a great fan of massive tips anyway. Looks a little dinky in the pics compared to IRL, but im happy with it.

The wheels look nice mate. What size are they and how much do they weigh. I am looking at xxr527 and the xxr530. I am going 18x9.75. So I can run the btcc tyres I gotNew shoes today,

I can get you a pretty much unlimited supply of btcc slicks. A friend running a Leon tcr!!!
There only 18 x 8. Don't want to run excess unsprung mass on the standard bearings etc and don't want spacers.
