From my RR

finally after a whole 30 days of just hanging out of the top i put my tax disc in the actual tax disc holder. bloody security screws on the back are a nightmare.

also tried and failed to fix my lose door blank, it looks like someone has taken a screwdriver to it to try and get it off while the car was being repaired the other week.

is this the torx screw that other posts say to tighten? because its as tight as it can be
null-62.jpg

the whole blank bit comes out easily when the handle is pulled

only difference i can see is the plastic clip is missing from one side (there should be a bit in the red circle the same as there is in the blue) but i cant se how that woule hold the whole thing in

Lost all power driving back from golf club  Plugged in my code reader to find a charge pressure positive code: 17965 P1557

Checked all hose connections - ok
Checked vac hoses - ok
Sprayed around all hose connections with soapy water but couldn't find any leaks
Took her out for a good blast and all fine :shrug::confused::shrug:

Would have suggested dump valve stuck shut but you haven't got one, VNT nozzles maybe? Dunno if TDi's have an N75 valve, could be that?

I'd say vnt, sort of established that mine are stuck, so I've got that revive turbo cleaner, £60 or £412 for a new garret unit from apd.... They keep my old one though

Mapped today but hit snags! Still got 187, but she dyno'd at 174 before touching the ecu! Bill did a good job, goes like the clappers and torque feels amazing! and shes still got 10+ horses to give too! Didn't realise how loud it actually is unless I wasn't on the pedal, now I know why all the old folk state at me haha

Told you!

Och I know :p

Still didn't stop me feeling nervous as fook though lol.

The day hasn't ended quite so well, got home tonight with Mrs csd_19 and noticed what looked like a bit of stick on the tyre. On close inspection its a f*cking drywall screw, hanging out the sidewall, another tyre straight in the bin. FFS! :censored: No doubt its from those slack c*nt builders round the corner, tidy up, naaahhhh.....

Not in this thread I know, but I'd be interested to know if your economy improves on a full tank with that gizmo when you put back to stock.

Removed my green panel filter, gave it a good clean and dried with the better half s hair dryer :cartman:
Gave the filter a lit spray with oil and refitted - that's it for another 6 months :D

Cleaned it yesterday then a layer of Carlack68 nano systematic care followed by Long Life sealant, and today another layer of sealant. Was ashamed at the amount of dirt the systematic care pulled out the paint, and just how swirly it is!

Fitted a boost gauge, working perfectly, also used that revive turbo cleaner! Sh1t myself when I saw all the water vapour out the back! Not really noticed any difference, seems to be still over boosting a little, about 2psi

Spoke too soon, it's flickering! Is this normal or is it faulty? I followed a guide and I've checked wiring and pressure hose twice! Anyone any ideas?
