I don't have a guide to what I did but it's fairly straight forward and I could write one at some point.
My fans wouldn't run at all on slow speed so I fitted the resistors and now they function fine on both speeds. Cost me around £25 all in for parts but you will also need a few basic tools for the job.
Ah right, yeah if you could mate that would be much appreciated Basic stuff like soldering iron? anything else I'll need to hand?
I've got a funny feeling mine might be doing this too, like the fans will turn on for about 5-10 seconds?
Yeah, they just blast for 10 or so seconds and then seem to go off, they seem to run ok in between though when I had a look last night
