I ordered the creation Motorsport one, is it not that good? I haven't had it fitted yet as just saving for the WMI kit

what sort of mix will you be using?
will you be using it for cleaning and cooling without being mapped in?

Will be trying a few, first thing i'll be trying is the Quantum Screenwash that i know Sam Bryant uses, as it contains 50% methanol, and only a couple of % for cleaners/soaps etc. Will then be trying a 50:50 weighted mix of pure meth and water after that.

Currently on Revo Stage 2+ K03, so will be setting it up with moderate CFs (around half of what the ECU is capable of correcting for) so i should see some good gains without losing the ECU ability to save/protect the engine.

did bill not say he saw very little cleaning effect from meth?

Somebody did, may have been Bill. It wont clean/remove existing deposits but may help to reduce them getting any worse

Waste of money to be honest. The bolts that come with it are useless, please do not attempt to use them in your inlet manifold or you will ruin the thread in the plastic. Wish i knew this before stripping the car apart, although i did fit a Runner Flap Delete at the same time so not a total waste of time. Pic i posted a couple of pages back illustrates the issue:

The design/placement of Methanol Injection port also makes it impossible to fit the Devils Own Nozzle and holder as the throttle body is in the way. Looked in to alternatives and AKS one is the logical choice.

Cheers for the reply Dan, I was speaking to Alex at AKS the other week when ordering something else.

I thought the quantum screen wash was a 30% mix? Or do people mix it down to 30%?

Fair play, that's cleared that up! Cheers for the info, I was just going to pour in the quantum stuff without diluting and go from there.

Let me know how you get on with running the extra timing on the map

if anything that looks better than the hids4u kit i have. personally id go for it and pick the 4300k bulbs.

That one is very similar to the ones I have on the A3, still going strong over 2 years old too.

Might have to get one myself, just don't want to have to drill through the back cover.

Just can't decide if should get the 4300k or the 6000k as I'm told each kit is different in terms of how much blue tint the bulb gives. Don't want it with to much blue but also don't want any yellow.
