I'm inpatient though and just want to take great pics right away haha.

I've got a few books to read on which settings are best for the camera etc. Need a tripod too

Spent my Sunday afternoon trying to fish out a sidelight that had dropped into the headlight unit! Possibly one of the most frustrating things ever, got so close then kept dropping it. Got there in the end though

Had to go through the low beam h7 socket with a paint brush handle and chewing gum (I'd recommend cool breeze if anyone ever has this problem).

Thanks, yeah that's exactly what I would have needed. I have a teloscopic magnet, but nothing on the bulb was magnetic.

I will buy one of those in case it happens again!

They are a lot brighter already although they aren't the best quality in all honesty I had to bend the two prongs back on one and to top it off I snapped the clip on the wiring plug from the car.

Swapped my sprayed front grille with the Cupra one I got for free after cleaning it up and giving it a good polish.

My other one will be for sale.

Also have Cupra/FR front and rear bumpers (complete) in white for £150 if anyone is interested.

Yeah that was my thoughts. I know on my A3 I had to drill through the cover on the back of the headlight, something I hadn't really wanted to do on the FR.

This is the kit KebabWarrior

http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7r-35w-slim-canbus-terminator-hid-xenon-conversion-kit/

Will need to take pictures as only just fitted them and have quite finished on where to put the ballasts. But when you take the cover off to access the bulbs, you will notice a lip where the cover sits on. Ive just taken a bit from that to feed the 4 cables through. Still got to tidy it up as done quite quickly.

Cheers for that this company seem to be the place to go for them as i have noticed a lot of people mention them. Are you happy with the kit overall, there is cheaper on the bay but that's not always a good thing lol.

i have a hids 4u kit and my mate got an ebay hid kit and there really was no difference at all apart from the expensive one had hids4u written on the ballast.
made me wonder why i bother paying more when i could of got the same just without the name.
