what kind of HID's are those? Look like they have a color matching to the LED's which is good

They're 35W can-bus ballasts with 6000K bulbs. The brand is modu HID or something like that, it's Chinese if my guess is correct, but it's a good quality one compared to other Chinese and Taiwanese ones in the market. They match the LEDs perfectly.

added my latest fill up onto fuelly.com. In my latest tank I averaged 41.3MPG. This is an average of town and motorway (70-80mph driving). I'm pretty pleased with that!

What insure did you opt for? Im due to renew

Went with Greenlight...they are a recommended insurer through the forum and have discounts for members. I checked the best prices through a few brokers and Greenlight were by far the cheapest, the even had a lower excess than the others too. Well worth calling them and if you speak to Neil he will sort you out (mention me and you might get a further discount!). Also, only an extra £20 for stage 1 remap too!

I'm with Greenlght as well. They're epic.
Most hassle-free insurance ever.
Not bothered about any mods until you get into big power increases...at which point you pay a tiny bit more.

Oh also had my first bang. Me and my mum were waiting at morrisons petrol station to fill up! Suddenly this Japanese import people carrier reversed. I thought it was so he could drive between the cars, but he went a little further and before I had time to move he was in my front bumper (the entrance is on a slight incline). So we both get out the cars and this fat 60-70year old gets out. 'Didnt you see my reversing lights?', 'yeah, I thought you were going through the cars', 'I couldn't fit', 'so wait for the cars to move, then?', 'you should have moved'. Turns out he was reversing out of the petrol station and going all the way round instead of waiting for a taxi in front of him who's driver had gone to pay.
He persisted it was my fault for not moving, my guess is because I'm a young driver so it's 'obviously my fault'.
He kept persisting until I said 'what happened to mirror signal manouver? If you had looked in your mirror you would have seen my car and stopped reversing. You didn't look'. Speechless, I then went on to say about another car at the pump and how if they reversed into the car behind, it's the car behinds fault even though they had no time to react? Also how if I left my car in a car park unattended and someone reversed into it, it's my fault for leaving it in the car park?
At that point he said 'knock for knock, I fix mine you fix yours' and we went our ways, arse.
Luckily only a couple of scratches on my bumper, but I still got annoyed. Seriously, who reverses out of a petrol station? It's a one way system. That's how I always view it anyway.

EDIT: my rant is now over. I think...

That was the first thing that went through my head after. We didn't exchange any details so all he has is my reg, if he remembered it. If thats enough to claim then I could grab any cars reg and say that they crashed into me! To be fair his car had a couple of scratches that would just polish out, likewise the same on mine. no body panel damage.

Also if anything was put in I'd contact morrisons to see if they would provide CCTV. That would clearly show my car stationary and his car reverse into mine.

This is the thing I would have said first. He would have quickly back tracked. If it will polish out then thats not too bad, but I suppose it's still the principle.

That's all he needs. If you haven't exchanged details, you haven't complied with the law and he could always go to the Police and claim the young lad was threatening and so he left.
I would report it to your local police station to cover yourself. You don't have to contact your insurance company.

Tbh if some reversed into me even if it was a small scratch i would still want compensating either through insurance or get a quote to fix and let the other driver now how much its gonna cost . If he was funny i would have planted him one at least then he would have had whiplash then :)

Picking on young driver - should have called plod out. They guy was driving without due care and attention. If you reverse into a stationary car how the hell can it not be your fault..
