Upgrading my speakers

Anyone else had a problem after fitting these with after market speakers and the window wont go all the way down? mine sticks up about 10mm... thimk the window hits the magnet on the speaker....

take the door card off. fit a spacer between the speaker and the adapter then roll the window down with the door card off. see if / what the window is catching on.

well found out what was causing my window to not go down all the way...

ive had aftermarket speakers for a while now but made diy wood pods for them ages ago so i lost the pins that hold the standard seat speakers to the door, so i put some different ones in which were about 3mm to long and the window was hitting that

What have Peeps done to get speaker wire to the front door speakers when using aftermarket speakers powered by an amp? is it easy enough? dont really want to use the exsiting...

very easy mate. just route a new cable down next to the existing loom.. my audio install covers this.
