how much you get them for mate?

Got em for the start price of £100!!! absolute bargain as they retail at about £500. They were brand new as well, pretty much the best bargain i've got off ebay. There were some on there last week at just over £100 and still bidding, think the guy wanted £200 for buy it now.

gosh now that is a bargain, ive heard them in action, and they are immense, real good sound quality, and they go loud when powered by a decent amp.

no worries mate, erm back ones are 6x4 speakers, but tbh what you thinking of putting in the front? because a decent front set of components is all you need, dont know if you talked about what your budget was in the beginning, but what you looking at spending?

Umm Seen some decent ones in halfords... Can spend around £50 maybe more, but theres plenty in halfords for £30 for a pair, you got any reccomendations? Halfords would be best because its close to where I am from.

tbh what halfords sell isnt really worth it, they have a way of mounting them in shop, so they sound good in halfords but when you get them in your car, they sound utter rubbish, also steer clear of there fli audio and fusion, the sound quality sounds very flat, and lacks any real performance, take a look on car audio security

or if you want a lil more power and want to upgrade your headunit or add an amp in the future

the look doesnt really matter, as the speakers are behind the door cards, unless your gonna show your speakers off with custom door builds lol, and the two smaller speakers are the tweeters, there the speakers that get the high notes, the car has tweeters already located in the pillars, but aftermarket tweeters will sound richer

not bad, but your getting 20watts of rms more from halfords for an extra 10quid if you can stretch it, and want to upgrade the stock headunit or add an amp later

As weve seen in plenty of threads, its a pretty hard job to install a head unit into my car!

But If I do buy them 59.99 ones I dont hve to upgrade my headunit do I? x

no you dont have to upgrade the headunit for them, they can just run in your stock speaker locations, just stick one under your steering wheel like i have and get a remote control, or just buy an inline convertor and a cd changer with and amp to get more power if you want
