I get the same code 16795 and I've done it the same as per the guide I normally get it if I drive off with the sai still running. Possibly the pump failing but I'll be ditching it soon anyway so I just reset it for now

Yeh that's what I do I bought a vw scanner to clear the codes I can hear my pump from start up just now and again goes into limp mode ( boost loss ) till I turn the car off then back on and it's fine for a while but I heard if I de cat it witch I will be doing when I sort the 17705 code out that u can take the pump off once de cat installed I believe :/

You can remove the pump/sai anyway its not a problem. Limp mode could be a leak. Look at the pipe that joins the inlet to the pcv pipe under the inlet mani. They are common for splitting that will be a boost leak or an incorect reading mate.

I have already check that pipe and many others the car ticks over perfect and also runs perfect and even when it's in limp mode car doesn't miss a beat just boost loss till I turn it off then back on again its a strange one but it's booked in for a smoke test next week so hopefully that will pick something up fingers crossed.

Forgot to ask mate when you looked at my pics can you see if its already had that bypass think and has it been done right or does it have to tee into the fuel regulator like I seen on another post?

That's the one I seen mate and thought the way mine was done might be wrong and corse my 17705/16795 codes until I spoke to this guy and it's been done right not that way using the fpr.
