You have Done a lot of work in a short space of time, and car looks great just had a read from start to finish hats off to you for all the work you have done!

Thanks mate, appreciate that. It's been ace getting the car from what it was to where it is now. Have a couple of tiny leaks to sort now (I am very anal about things like that) and then I will decide later on if I want to take the car any further. At the moment I have no intentions to as it drives like a dream

Right plan for this weekend (or when the weather actually brightens up again):
  • Service Forge DV
  • Fix the two small leaks
  • Clean throttle body and re-align
  • Run a boost leak test
  • Run further VAGCOM tests to ensure all is running smoothly

Then I think I will give it a clean after that and take some pics. I now have some 12mm hubcentric spacers at the front which I personally think look spot on

I have 15mm spacers on the rear mate. The fronts looked to be sunk in a little too much for my liking hence why I have put the spacers on the front also. Now they are inline with the body work

Hi mate, thank you for the kind comment. It is the Jetex filter and Badger 5 TIP I have. I too purchased the Jabba Heat Shield separately. I also have a 3inch cold air feed which fits perfectly. Have a look at this thread I started when I was inquiring about the heat shield: Jabba Heat Shield

No problemo. I did indeed mate, great bit of kit. In my opinion open cone filters look lost without this style of heat shield

Thanks again for that mate, i'll give Jabba a call this week and order one ;) It really suits it and tidies up the engine bay that bit more

If anyone is thinking about getting some spacers for the front of the car I'd recommend a set of 12mm hubcentric ones, not that I am biased of course ;)
