Was just going to say that, got to be his as his cars up for sale and has toyo T1-Rs on, if this is so your car will be complete, should look really well mate

Haha, yeah that's the one!

Thanks for the comment :D But the car is FAR FROM DONE..

So much more work to do and so much more money to spend. But I will because I really want to complete this project and end up with it how I want it.

Long way to go yet!

Your a lucky lad t0m, they looked great on his so they'll look great on yours:thumbup:

Cheers mate!

Can't wait to see how they look. I'm nervous, but excited, lol.

I cant wait to polybush mine too!

Lol.. us petrolheads do get excited over some weird things!

My ex did used to question my sanity and obsession with cars

Aww CHs would be sexual, so theyr standard LCR rims then but im guessing MINTED ones!

Yeah they would be awesome, but it's too much wedge when I've got a new clutch (maybe uprated), an LSD and new FMIC in the pipeline for 2012.

Complete brake overhaul upgrade should be done for around December, plus ARBs ;)

Then it'll be close to how I want it!

And yes, these rims I'm getting are pretty mint and I love the finish they were done in so I'm well happy :D

Haha, snow and ice + Toyo's = you're mad!

All round is good, but the Toyo's are cheaper IIRC..

I'll be getting the Superpro kit, and I really can't wait. I know it's a bit sad to get excited over bushes, but these really need doing and I know the car will feel much better for it, and be future proof for aslong as I keep her once it's done. :)

Driving a car with slicks on snow and ice make you very very aware of every input, braking andf accelerating. It made driving to work evciting for sure.

I've had my LCR since new and know exactly how it felt when new and rebushed. Both times was a very nice feeling.
You among fellow car perverts, don't feel bad.
We're all in the same boat.
But some of us like looks and others like performance.

Exactly matey..

Ah I see, well once that work is done it's done!! Sounds like you're going to town on it mate I knew you would haha!!

That exhaust sounds so nice mate. Defo tasty that!! Bit jealous tbh, haha...

Aye it sounds good, needs touching up in places and when I've got the centre section replaced with a tiny silenced part it should be twice the volume lol. Miss the speed of LCR though :( sound makes up for it but I don't get the torque pushing my head back.

Good choice but then again I really don't like golfs so I would say that [B)]

You never know, but I doubt it.

Just thinking of upgrading. There's a few options out there..

 do you not think the money would be better spent elsewhere? you've got some pretty expensive mods coming up and theres nothing wrong with your FMIC, just look at yours, mine and Sams figures!

got to agree. if your intake temps are low and dont go up massively on power runs then you will be wasting your money(mine go up by 10 on power runs). look into wmi if you want silly low temps, by the way you can run normal water to maintain low temps or use water meth to increase timing and power. remember the tx is a very flowing cooler with no restrictions.

Haha, I bet!!

Mmm I can't wait to get mine rebushed soon! Going to feel 'new' underneath I'm hoping!

I like the looks side to an extent but the way the car goes is much more important to me for sure.

LOL, you should bring it down to AmD rr day mate! Bet it would sing!!! Haha..

Can't beat the torque mate, but your Alfa must sound yummy on full chat!

FMIC is last on the list of everything mate if I do upgrade. LSD is infront of it now! ;)

The cooler does well I just need to get the pipework beaded. I just have the urge to get the monster race FMIC Forge do.. But we'll see.. Like I said above mate, there's loads more to do before I consider the FMIC area again!

Can't wait for the new look with the wheels. Should be sweet and finish it off exterior wise bar the brembo refurb I'm still to do.

Same reply bud, I may consider FMIC but it's not definite I'll upgrade if mine stays all good..

Got any pics of the tint mate? How far did you go with them?

I don't think that's a good idea  It's only 220 at flywheel from factory and it's 13 years old  The result would be pretty disappointing I'm sure.

What finish are the new alloys Tom? Anthracite?

Be good to see the car though one day if possible.

See Jonjay's thread mate.. The spokes are polished and the sides of each spoke are a darker finish.. You can actually see it in Jonjay's avatar pic :)
They are his wheels I'm getting.

Look forward to the pics to see how it looks, especially on a darker car. :)

I'm tempted to get a crappy bean can diesel for commuting for a couple of hundred quid and keep the alfa for weekends, I've got a few plans for it and I hate racking up 50 miles a day in it. Although in a years time I will be selling it and buying a V6 spider. An acquired taste but I love them. Maybe I'll bring it along next summer when I'm happy with it ;)

Very nice [B)] I reckon they'll look spot on Tom can't wait to see some pics when are you putting them on?

Haha, do it. Can't be doing 50 miles a day in a big engine petrol motor these days mate! Burning money surely?!

V6 Spiders still turn heads! Bring it along bud.

Oooh I can't wait either I'm starting to get excited myself, lol. Should be on by the weekend, pics of course to follow! You know me
