Think that will certainly be a good addition to the package you have already got!
I should hope so mate!

Sorry I was a bit drunk when I typed the initial reply.I don't know the full ins and outs of these diffs, can I just ask what the FZQ, LC and GB are? Sorry to be a noob. Thanks for listing the prices though dude.
My mate who's local to me has a Wavetrac on his stage 2 LCR and is prettywith the difference in the cars cornering ability now!
I wonder if AmD were the one's to fit it that it'll come with a lifetime warranty then? They are sellers of Quaife setups, but I may call them today to ask about Wavetracs.
It's a big purchase so it'd be nice to know everything now so I know exactly what work gets done and what to expect from the car after. I've never tracked it and it needs ARBs and complete bush overhaul, plus brakes before I can think of it. But it sounds like I may be tempted once a diff goes in.
How would you describe the change from stock to diff in terms of cornering ability and what to expect and look out for?
They sound like the icing on the cake..
Sorry I was a bit drunk when I typed the initial reply.
The LCR OEM Gear Box is an 6 speed 02M FML.
The LC (Leon Cupra) OEM GB is 6 speed 02M FZQ.
The Final drive is a different size giving you different gearing ratios.
I think I have gotten better traction doing this as the gear box sorts out some of the wheel spin.
My car is pretty far from OEM spec now.
I had stiffer wishbone bushes, stiffer Dog Bone Mount bushes, 23mm Front ARB and 28mm Rear ARB, S3 front upper strutt brace and KWV3 coilovers.
So as you can expect the handling on the car was very good compared to the OEM set up.
I was still on an OEM map and the traction with Toyo R888 tyres was very very good.
Before I had the diff fitted I had never experienced a FWD car with a LSD so I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. After speaking to people it was described a a night and day transformation.
I picked up a second hand gear box for a VERY good price. This way I didn't have to be without the car for any length of time. This was sent down to Stealth racing on the previso that what ever needed to be done to the box to make it like new, do it.
With the diff in and my car on a ramp I swapped out the gear box.
The first drive with this in I still had my winter tyres on but even with them on the speed you could carry through the corners and how quickly you could get on the power was truely amazing.
I have since been stage 2 mapped and have been on the track a few times and this is truely night and day to the OEM traction.
If you enjoy driving your car hard, know your cars limitations and can currently throw your car about a bit you will massively notice the difference.
It's an out and out handling mod and a hugely welcome addition to any FWD motor. Once you have one fitted you will never have a performance FWD car without one.
But don't make the mistake of thinking it will drastically change the amount of wheel spin you get with a stage 2 mapped car. The only ways to tame one of these is mapping and having an educated right foot.
Hope this helps
looking good mate, have you got a link for the new bulbs?
I've got a custom map, yeah.
I used R888's even on the snow and ice this year, LOL.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's will take some beating for all round tyre but for out and out handling the R888's are very difficult to top.
Either Powerflex or Superflex are good. I know Powerflex went up in smoke this year so dunno if their back up and running yet.
Is your map a custom one Willie? Your car must handle ON RAILS!
I can confirm that - only had a quick spin with Willie but it felt like a Scalextric car, it clung to the road that much.
CHs???
So are those jonjays?
So are those jonjays?
Haha, snow and ice + Toyo's = you're mad!
All round is good, but the Toyo's are cheaper IIRC..
I'll be getting the Superpro kit, and I really can't wait. I know it's a bit sad to get excited over bushes, but these really need doing and I know the car will feel much better for it, and be future proof for aslong as I keep her once it's done.![]()
