I really cant comment on a polybushed car. All I'm saying is in my experienced twinned with a front 23mm R32 arb you will find the best setting for a rear 25mm arb to be stiffest, I'm sure EL is running a similar setup to me, tyrers running middle because he has the standard 19mm farb and with the poly bushes on, the cars going to be stiffer in any case.
All I'm goin to say is once its all done mate your car is going to handle like its on rails:drive1:

I've got a Neuspeed 25mm front ARB & Neuspeed 28mm Adjustable rear ARB
My rear one is on the softest at the moment, I found the back to be really hard and bouncy with it on the hardest.

I think the setting depends on the size I have the whiteline rarb set 2nd stiffest

I have the 24mm Whiteline too, I started it on the middle setting and honestly couldn't feel any difference in the handling. I already had the 23mm R32 front one fitted tho so I stuck the Whiteline on the stiffest setting and now I can feel it a little bit, but it's still pretty subtle.

Maybe I'm just not chucking the car around enough

If you run a constant 33 PSI on the rear try 30 PSI.
It's made mine far more planted

Would you suggest that for a non-lightened car too? I've obviously still got all the seats, trim, spare wheel etc. so my car (particularly at the rear) weighs a good bit more than yours.

Rear seats are light, i would only put the whole rear at 15kg, the wheel is the weight
I have been running with no rear seats for a while due to carting stuff around and the big difference is noise, it sounds like our going faster more than actually running really lightweight.
t0m when you do put the RARB on i would recommend you choose the middle setting then choose how YOU want the car to handle and adjust it to suit be it harder or softer and dont worry about the 'run it on the stiffest setting or you're gay' people as to be honest as their knowledge to a well setup car is questionable (RDS dont think that was a pop at you either)

No worries mate, everyone has there own opinion, as I say thats just how I like mine. I really dont think people are gay just because there motors set up differently to mine. I'm looking forward to hearing the feedback from t0m as to how it handles once its all setup as I'm thinking of getting mine polybushed next year.:D

Medium/Large size update time once more..

Guys, just checked back in here and had a good read of all your posts regards to polybushing and ARBs, thanks for all the comments, would love to reply to all but got an update to do instead ;)

All comments taken on-board though don't worry.

So as a few of you were aware earlier in the week, I got the chance to grab a superb set of LCR rims, refurbed and in mint condition (all 5) with Toyo T1R Proxes that have covered very low miles - at a superb price! This I could not turn down.. They are indeed Maz's (jonjay's) wheels he had on his awesome Hybrid TDi.

The drive home from Maz's today was really good, the Toyo's grip so well and the traction down in 3rd is so so much better than ever before. Really feeling the stage 2 torque again! It's fair to say my Bridgestone Potenza's on the front had seen better days as Maz will agree

I ended up getting a few more bits in the end though.. of course

This includes:

-Eibach 25mm RARB
-Hughes Engineering rear strut brace
-Brand new packaged LCR splitter (much cheaper than SEAT now charge!!)
-Parcel-storage shelf tailor made for the boot of the MK1 Leon.

Going to be eyeing up the Eibach FARB as a purchase next month and if I can - I'll be getting the FULL Superpro polybush kit! She should feel tight after all this. Also going to get the coilovers serviced (re-greased) and cleaned/checked over.

I had a spare LCR wheel I dropped at DK's after on the way home earlier and he thinks it looks better so it's good to know others think it's the right move for the car to make.

Better pics coming next weekend - Giving the car a proper clean and Darren said about a possible photoshoot of the cars.

That's all for now...

Mate love the new wheels, in my opinion if I was going to refurb my OEM ones this would be how I would have them.

But then I'm biased... Had this done to my 156 GTA wheels.

Just make sure you keep them protected mine lasted 1 winter before the salt got to them and I had them sealed in poor boys!!

Outside is pretty much finished now? Best OEM exterior on the forum in my opinion

Yeah, don't worry... Maz has cleaned/sealed these wheels and I gave them a quick-wash earlier when I got in and the water just runs off so easily. But I will be looking after these for sure and asking Maz/DK what's best to keep these at their peak all year round as I won't be running winter wheels. Tbh I probably won't be driving the car over winter especially if it snows. She'll be tucked up in the garage, lol.

Thanks for the comment! I don't think it's the best but it's nice to hear people make positive comments about the look. I prefer OEM and OEM+ allday long to 'scene' etc but then we all have our own taste. I have a minor change I may make but it won't really make a massive difference to the appearance.. Just some fiddling about with the spacers.

Haha, I know I do  - and I will hopefully next weekend! Car will be cleaned properly and wheels done again with the tyres dressed up! Literally took these rubbish iphone pics as the light was starting to vanish.

I will stay far far away from the kerbs! Never curbed one in my time of owning the car and don't intend to, ever, lol.

Sure do Maz  They sure were easily washed down. They seem sealed up very well! I can't get over the condition of the spare it is truly stunning. I think I'll hang it up in my room

Enjoying the wheels already and the new look of the car + the improved grip!

Will update everything as I go along as usual mate.

Thats one nice pile of goodies you've got there.

Looks awesome mate:clap:

Your a lucky lad getting the shelf, they're impossible to get ahold of now:(

Cheers mate :D

Should have some much better pics by the weekend though when the car is clean and the light is around!

Had a result really with all the parts so I'm over the moon. Plenty of work to be done still, but I'm looking forward to each mod now as they come along over the winter.

Hoping to do major work every month now, that's the aim anyway... The list is big enough to get through to spring easily.
