Your probably right mate but once the arbs are done I have to get a FMIC and am still swaying between the TX Autosport one and Forge. If money was no object it would be Forge but there rather expensive! How are you finding yours?

Fmic makes a nice difference. Me and my mate vag-com'd logs showing an average reduction in intake temps of 10-15 degrees peak over about 3 runs in 4th gear on the same stretch of road compared to the smic's.

I see your running stage 2, so defo worth doing to help it peak and tail off later up the range. You should notice it pull harder once your past 4th gear I'd say.

There was a small bit of trimming required with the fmic around the fog light surrounds from behind the bumper. But this was soon done and I didn't care about losing the fogs as I've got HID's waiting to go on ;)

Plus no fogs means a bit of extra airflow and somewhere to run the ducting to the jetex when I get that off ebay.

It's been very reliable since it went on, no probs with the fmic itself or pipework. It looks mean too imo :)

Well today my mate helped to fit the HID's, and boy I love them. Very happy :D

Sorry for terrible picture quality but you get the idea..

Finally got some time today to get out and fit the Jabbasport heatshield and red silicone connector to complete my Jetex setup.

Well I say complete.. I still want some sort of 80mm ducting running to the filter for cold feed, but at the moment it's looking as I want it to and the filter is rock solid in place now, barely any movement :)

Bit of pic whoring for anyone thinking about the Jabba shield.

After taking the car for a test run to make sure all was well, I would recommend anyone getting the Jetex setup from Badger5 into their LCR/LC to fit some sort of shield or bracket.

The difference from when it was just resting against the battery is massive under initial boost. Alot smoother and the car is pulling harder. I'm not just saying that, it really does feel like it's breathing better. Whether the old setup meant the tip was being pulled downwards a bit and changing laminar airflow for the worse, I don't know. But with it being solidly in now, it feels much better and I'm real happy with how she's looking and performing. But there's still along way to go of course.......

Looks very familiar that :p Looks sweet mate!

You know it's the best colour.... [B)]

Cheers bud, it's getting there now. But I've gotta get my fans looked into soon. They're still kicking in after short & long journeys and temp creeps past 90 slightly. It'll then start to cool down back to 90 and fans will cut back off...

My mate thinks it could be the resistor, but these are located in the whole fan arrangement aren't they? The fuse by the battery seems fine so it's gona have to go get looked into before I get that new Milltek turbo back and the stage 2 map put on. The fans are the original one's so I won't be surprised if I'm looking at a whole new set..

nice work tom. good lad :)

Cheers Sam :)

Looking good mate, keep the mods coming :)

Don't worry mate, there's plenty of mods on the way still yet! And cheers for kind words :)

Good job mate, mine should turn up next week!

Cheers Adam :D
You will love the shield. So easy to fit aswell, it's obvious the second you look at the 2 mounting points where it goes in. Very happy with mine and how the car's smoothness has improved with it on.

I should have expected it with the filter leaning against the battery cover in the old loose setup, this was probably meaning lack of airflow to that side of the filter.

Got a trip to Bluewater today, so a chance to get the car under harder load and see if I can still feel the difference.

Looks really neat I've just fitted my Neuspeed P-flo kit with the sheidl but the jabba shield looks nicer :(

But the induction sounds and 007 sound great!!

Tim.

The Jabba was my preference but the P-flo shield still isn't a bad option mate, and does the job too. I just saw the Jabba on someone else's build and had to have one..

Open cone with the 007p does sound awesome. I like! :funk:

Really pleased to get these all done before winter properly sets in, what with not having any fogs! Who needs those anyway.. :p

Next should be some 'clear crystal' side repeaters en route from ebay. Then my lighting arrangement will be pretty much done.
