Well this c. 15% of owner / driver representation is shitting it at the thought of driving to Paris on Saturday, don't care about fatigue or the crazy french driving. Just want to get there and back without the help of a tow truck.

Your luck has to change sooner or later, mate! I'm sure you'll make it there and back fine! :)

Just check you have Seat Assist on your mobile's speed-dial! lol ;)

It's flat, the roads are smoother and the lane discipline is much better so you don't have to change speed constantly to avoid morons hogging the outside lane.

I'm still very happy with my 1.6 oil burner, on my 20 mile drive to work 90% of which is motorway at normal speeds I get over 55 mpg. On country lanes on a run it's not hard to get over 65 mpg.

Problems since new, well a drivers interior door release rattle fixed by the dealer. I've had the car 15 months since new and 10K on the clock. I don't do that many short journeys though however when I have the car was fine.
