My husband took my car to seat about a month ago for a recall, can’t remember what it for but the next day the engine light came on! Seat don’t think it’s anything to do with what they’ve done and couldn’t get the light of, now Thursday last week he took it to his normal garage to see if they could get the light of, which they did, they also done glow plug, egr valve, oil feed gasket, exhaust clip and exhaust gasket, costing us £1331, then Friday the light came back on, on the way home from school run, now it won’t start, just makes a clicking noise, had someone else come look at it and he was baffled too, I’m the end he think it could be the ignition switch and something else trans something I don’t remember! What do you think it could be? I’ve been without my car now for a week, I’m so frustrated after spending so much for this to happen!

The clicking sound, is normally the sign of a flat battery.

A low battery can also kick out other systems and show false issues. See if you can try and jump start it or buy a new battery and see if that helps
