insurance on the tdi is much cheaper than petrol though, and some people like me just prefer the way diesels drive

I was just thinking scott might get bored of the TDI after a bit and be looking for a quicker car again and if MPG is not a big issue he may as well :)

I don't want to see it go!!!

Hope the sale goes through smoothly mate.

Just think guys, this car is Scott's first attempt... if he gets an FR TDI, given some time I'm sure his second attempt will look even better.

Going to someone local scott?

Boy from Irvine bought my Mk3 Cupra... thought I would hate to see it buzzing around all the time (probably looking tatty... I'm anal that way) but a week later he had written it off. Don't know if I was happy or sad?

nah the guy is from Bolton area so will be a case of 'out of sight out of mind' but i would like him to start a thread on here to see where or what he does to it as i thought i covered it well. but we'll see.

tbh im very sad too, its just sitting in the runway now till it goes.

the plans for the next arent too exciting as such, im not wanting to mod it as i dont want to add mods to insurance, partly the reason for the change aswell. but i will probably facelift the bumpers and maybe some alloys in time but will be keeping it pretty much OEM for a while. dont worry it will be clean and tidy.

Bolton you say, there's a chance I might see it from time to time then. :)

I like what you're saying so far Scott, about going on your holidays first, give yourself time to think what you really want next. Seems like you've got your head screwed on. :D

FR = OUT ..................... VRS = MORE LIKELY

been window shopping online and have to say the VRS has taken the edge over the FR, love the look of them and even though the interior lets it down, i will soon bring it up to par. if the car goes away on saturday the Fabia could be here sooner than you know, depends on a few things but will keep you all posted....:D
