I got pulled for speeding at the begining of the year and the copper said it was my "bright white lights" that attracted him to my car. He never had a look at the car/lights and it passes the MOT last month with no mention of them either.

i would like some opinions on this....i was looking at personal regis last night and found a couple one of which i cannot get as it falsifies the year of the car....but the 2nd is this....my full name is Scott Howie so you know what its meant to mean. Only thing putting me off is that if/when i buy a newer car this will make it look older than it is, i cant decide.

Remember when you change your car, it £80 or somehting like that to move the plate to the new car....
But if thats at a good price then go for it! - Looks good on the car.

I 'think' its £80 a year, every year to keep ur personal plate. Not just when you change cars.

Just looked it up, only £245, that's base price... can't get cheaper than that.

i think you should go for it looks good to me.
if you got a newer car it would be obvious if it was personalised if they didnt make the car in 02.

as for the plate go for it, and when you get a new'r car every one will know its a privet plate!
iv had my plate on 3 diffrent cars it costs £80 every time you transfer and thats all you pay.

i dno is it easy enough to get on the car once i make the payment to the dvla, how long does the transfer take

there was a wait of about a month wile all the paper work went from here to their. but all i had to do was sent away the £ a copy of the tax disk and the v5 and the dvla dun the rest.
