custom catch can

hello all.

just fitted my custom catch can and i know some of you were waiting to see the results.

well the results are in and im one happy chap. the can fits like a glove, the engine seems to run alot better and for some reason the car feels even better on full boost. the can was made to my spec with 19mm inlets and outlets and a deviding wall between the inlet and out let for clean intake. the can was a straight fit. the only thing you have to do is twist the maf round so the plug is under the can inlets. i knew this and my design was made around this.

here is a few pics of clearance between the maf and strut brace.

and the finished result

i hope a few of you like the design and if any of you want one of these cans send me a pm and i can arrange something with the guy who made mine.

thanks

I'm all right mate, busy getting sent all over the place with work and we gotta move house soon too but all good. Got my badger TIP fitted and de-cat so putting it in for stage 2 soon which I actually can't wait for!! Then I guess the real work starts but I have formulated a plan ;)

give us a shout next time you're about I'm getting a new SLR soon so have to try that out  don't expect anything like your mate can do tho

hi rizer and thanks. yes i have done all the work myself apart from the coilovers and exhaust as i dont have the tools.

i have another bit of bling to add to the car today :)

my hughes rear strut brace, bling bling my babers haha (thanks drka-drka)

a nice easy install and quality is spot on. no modding is need to fit this apart from a tiny bit of grinding with a dremel as in the pic below. took 20mins to fit.

also i have this bad boy to fit tomorrow :)

its a phantom boost gauge by autometer, with a red bulb so should look very oem :)

also today i took my car out for the first time in over a month, took it for its tracking and my god it feels so much better, was costing me power and alot of extra fuel before. so good result today
