thanks nath :)
i went to see the stainless steel fabricators today and its bad news. they told me they couldnt copy the curve with this thickness of stainless :( tbh i think they could but they couldnt be assed. so atm its a no go but i have not given up yet.
seeing as i have a day off i decided to polish up my coilpack cover and add the decal.

cant wait to get the rocker cover powdercoated and this fitted :D

Ahh well, not to worry, TBH if I got one it would be the only nicely polished thing in my bay anyway!! I really must pull my finger out and get my engine detailed! Good work tho mate it'll look good on :)

just a quick question, after giving the car a little beating last night with nick, i have noticed when i took the car out today my first few dumps on the dumpvalve flutter then its goes away. then once i leave the car to cool down a few hours it does the same when i set off again. is this a sign of a dv service or regrease?

Mine does that mate,I think my spring is too stiff to be honest, its a yellow forge 007p,same as yours? Is it the dump valve fluttering or the turbo stopping and maybe spinning backwards a little?cos if its the latter thats not good im sure.

Hi m8. I serviced the dumpvalve and now its fine, still got a few other running issues, logs have been done so hopefully we can find the problem.

I had the proper mobil 1 red grease forge sent me on mine and it was doing it,i put super high temp industrial silicone grease on it now and it still does it,like yours tho when cold, its prob a combiation of a slightly too stiff spring and cold thick grease until its all warm and its allowed to slip up and down properly you reckon?also I have had my turbo come off manifold 4 times, ive used new high tensile bolts with nordlock washers and red loctite and it still happens, ive got turbo lock tabs now from america for next time it happens, although the garage said the threads on turbo are a bit ****ed cos of bolts coming loose all the time, ever heard of or had that?also any chance you could read a thread i did and see if you can answer that please mate?by the way your car is mints, mines black and its the worst colour ive ever bought for showing the dirt ,and I thought it would be the best colour lol, cheers bud.:)
