Ditto, the first two times I came round looking for you I was like, do you know who Richard is, and of so where he might be, got some weird looks I might add lol! Hope you had a good time though mate, maybe I'll be on the stand next year with you all :)

You should've just asked for the owner, I didn't introduce myself to everyone, pulled up washed the car and got the beers out :)

Your car looking stunning yesterday mate. I came over to look at it twice. The custom heat shield is looking great, I've got to make one up myself.

Cheers mate, I'm quite happy with it again. Still cleans up really well saying that it was neglected for 6/7 month

Back from inters, had a great time but my god the journey back was hard work after a day of drinking on Saturday.

Before I went I decided to make a new front grill as I was 100% on the badgeless grill. So I bought one of these and cracked on:

Old vs new:

Couple of pics to show the new grill fitted:

Definate improvement.

James whats going on here mate?

What can I say mate apart from BATTERED!

Thanks. To be honest the colour had to grow on me, never wanted a silver one but I'm really pleased I got one now.

It depends for the recaros, sometimes quite a few will come up and then other times you can't find any, just keep an eye out on eBay and Edition 38.

It's been a while so thought I'd post something on here. So what have I been up to recently?
Not much to be honest :(

Went to VW Festival and probably had the best pic of my car taken to date:

Got these off D.K for the charge pipe:

Went to VW Action:

Glad you bought the diff in the end mate, you really will love it. More traction low down and when you're really getting through the gears, you'll think your car isn't making as much power because it's not spinning the wheels up every 5 seconds but it's the diff putting it down.

Should notice it feels smoother the way it pulls from a standing start.

Hope it all goes smoothly bud, enjoy the first drive! :D

Cars spent most of today in this position:

It's now got a Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential and the clutch has also been replaced. Hopefully I'll get to take it for a proper test soon but tomorrow with Newcastles early kick off there wont be enough blood in my alcohol stream to allow driving ;)
