Just a quick word of warning I had the THS FR3 dogbone mount and it pretty much disintegrated in just over 6 months! Maybe I just had a bad one but I would advise keeping and eye on it.

Ok mate, I'll keep an eye on it.

Should be good once it's eventually all together, I've been intouch with Issam an he's told me everything will be here before Christmas, so at least they'll be here this year. But I think I might wait till spring now to get everything fitted, really need some guaranteed good weather so I can run it in, worried if I get the engine done and then it snows the car will just sit on the drive.

Happy to take you out in it next time we meet up.

You getting yours before Xmas mate? Great news. INA haven't been in touch with me, although I've been promised coil pack adapters for free ;)

Will be 6 months shortly :(

Flipping heck guys I'd be super pissed off!!! I'd want a dame site more than coil pack adaptors! I can't belive you haven't asked for your money back as some have.
You're both going to have some fun when it's all fitted though.

Lol we both are but at the end of the day I'm in no rush as my car is plenty quick as it is. I trust Alex anyway, I'm sure he may do something for me. Can't speak for RDS tho. Seems there was a problem with the machine making the rods? That's what Issam emailed me.

I'm suprised they didn't substitute the rods for another make. We're to polite in this country. I bet there American customers have gone mad. I do really feel for you guys it's not good.

So what time frame do you have in mind for the engine work to be done Richard? Do you have anyone in mind to fit it all?

What are your plans for the seats that you purchased? Is your mum still gonna retrim them? I think the Recaros can look totally different, and better, with a few subtle changes.

Roll on spring time hey buddy :)

Addington Motors will be doing the engine work, they were recommended to me by a lad off R32OC, his very particular about his car and keeps it immaculate (and it's 500bhp). I've used them for a few bit's and pieces, they're spot on and always happy to answer any queries.

Originally I wanted it done and ran in by the end of December/mid January, but realistically now it'll probably be the end of Feb/mid March before it's done and run in and I'm back to full boost.

Seats will be getting sorted in the new year, they're stripped and I've got some new base foam for the drivers seat. I know exactly what I want, if it happens they should look rather decent ;)

Roll on spring indeed mate, I hate this time of year :(

No, it isn't from INA, still waiting for that stuff and it's looking increasingly unlikely it'll be here before Christmas!

This is from Dave at Seremotors, who again has proven to do the best prices and customer service for any OEM SEAT parts:

So what have we got:

Nothing really exciting:

Rear calipers, discs, pads and handbrake cables. Also the threaded pipe which the oil filter screws onto on vehicles without the oil cooler and the gasket for the oil filter housing to the block, just need some decent weather now so I can get the oil cooler fitted.

:D

Good going mate, nice buys :) Gotta get new rear pads and discs for mine soon I think.

Dave at Sere is just unbeatable for OEM parts isn't he. Top man.

Shame the INA stuff isn't here yet but hopefully not long after crimbo if that's when it's going to be now.
