Good update matey :D

Hopefully all those bits do turn up soon. You going to get the Revo tweaked at all to suit once you have the mani and rods on?

The Revo is spot on, boost 8 timing 8. I'm only going to get a custom map if I change the actuator, otherwise I probably will just log and tweak the Revo.

Just thought I'd stick an update on this. I've not had a chance to take the car out for a decent blast yet. I've had the alignment all sorted and I'm now running 1 degree negative camber on the front, but saying that it's now snowing it's going to be a while till I get the motor out.
With the new engine mounts I've now got considerably more vibration in the cabin at low revs, the vibrations seem to be coming from low down in the cabin, I think it's due to having a polyuthrene dogbone mount. I've had a word with Philc who had the same engine mounts, he had no problem whilst running the THS FR3 dogbone mount, so I've ordered one to see if that fixes it.

That's interesting to hear mate. Hopefully the THS one cures it. Always rated it as a great setup for the dogbone and there's plenty of people running them.

Shame about the weather but you'll get your chance to take it out properly soon I'm sure!

I thought you had the THS mounts from Phill?
I know he found the vibratechnics set very harsh but didnt have any problems with the THS
If you do contact THS, Ollie used to be the guy to talk to and even used to give a bit of SCN discount

I got the THS engine mounts off Phill but not the DBM, didn't think I needed it with having the polyuthrene one. Guess i was wrong

The vibrations will reduce as the mounts/bushes bed in mate. I had teeth-rattling vibes around 1100rpm (just where the engine does fast idle from cold, nice one) with my ECS dogbone at first, couple of hundred miles later they're nearly gone.

Not more updates Richard  It's moving along at some pace mate! Once you've had all the engine and g/box upgrades done, and the interior bits and exterior plastics are done, do you have much more planned for it, or will it be time to just enjoy driving and maintaining it? It's already such a well rounded car IMO.

I look forward to a passenger ride one day :)

At the moment mate, I just want everything fitted and to enjoy it. I've thrown some money at it recently to try and get the love back, there really isn't anything in my price bracket I'd rather have so I just want to make this motor as good as it can be. I really need to stop looking at other peoples threads on here though, especially t0m's

Get yourself to the track day that should be happening next year, more than happy to take you out in it.

There's a few 'feeders' on here...hahah. I'm enjoying T0M's and Chris Worzel's progress ATM, as well as everyone elses. The problem is, you get to see the true potential of the LCR through other people's efforts, and the only limit becomes your wallet. The LCR is such a good platform and the upgrades market is getting better. You've got such a good example mate; super low mileage, immaculate and highly spec'd. Super envious!

The love will be back in the spring that's for sure. I'll see what date the track meet will be held on. Baby dependent, but it'd be good to meet everyone :)

Sorry guys but don't blame me lol :)

You'll get the love back for it soon mate. It's a cracking car and you've got some seriously sweet mods coming up. One step at a time you'll get it where you want it soon enough!

Just a quick word of warning I had the THS FR3 dogbone mount and it pretty much disintegrated in just over 6 months! Maybe I just had a bad one but I would advise keeping and eye on it.

Yep it's all you fault. You're the pimp daddy for mods.
