I noticed mate:

I think yours is sitting better then mine:)

If you can get the measurements that would be great mate, unless DK turns up.

Lower is 'more' in stance respects but just not too low to screw up the handling. :)

I just popped out with the tape measure mate, it's only in inches this one, pretty basic, lol.. Anyway from the floor to the wheel arch it measures JUST under 25" - so top of the tyre is like 23" or so.. 25" upto the arch is perfect for no rubbing at all. Never had an issue with mine.

Mines sitting at 63.5cm from the floor to the top of the wheel arch.
My undertray does rub on uneven surfaces and on country lanes that have a lot of camber.

These undertrays are supposed to scrape, otherwise what's the point of them ;)

Agree with Darren, I have always had the front lower than the rear for better grip plus looks better!!

Finally pulled my finger out and dyed the filter:

Also hit a mileage milestone:

I'm really pleased with the way the cars running at the moment, the 2.0t coilpacks really have improved how smooth the car is. You can also feel the difference in the filters too, the JR feels alot more free flowing, my missus even noticed a slight change in noise, I quote:
" it sounds alot more sucky and wooshy now"
I love the way she describes things:D

Cheers for looking

Nice work mate :)

These filters do seem to be the best you can run on LCR's. Lol at the missus' describing it :D

To be honest mate, I can't believe the difference in this to the K&N. The car feels as though it has to work harder with the K&N, its defintately more restrictive. I should have really logged them to see the difference through the range.

that's all that matters in my opinion with air filters :D

Great touch with the dye, the blue was standing out a bit too much in your bay

thats true mate, it just takes a women to put it in simple terms

Sounds like the sort of thing my o/h says :)

That red does look smart, good effort.

Cheers mate

why not buy a red one? car looks ace tho

I've got a red K&N but the jetex filters are the best for flow rate and filtration but their red filters are only rated to 250 bhp whereas this one is rated to 430 bhp. Cheers for the comment:D

Saying that my thread has popped back to the top I may aswell update it with future plans.

For I while now I've been considering getting rid of the number plate recess on the front bumper, so I contacted JMS about his:

This is definately they way I want mine to look. So earlier this week I popped along to SEAT to order the grills and went to pick them up today:

Hopefully I'll get most of it done this weekend, although I'll not be fitting it straight away. I'm considering upgrading my FMIC and possibly fitting an oil cooler so all 3 things will be done at the same time whilst the bumper is off :D

Edit - just need to decide where the number plates going to go
