Guys,
Just new to this forum so I can't post any pics as of yet. I recently purchased a candy white mk5 ibiza sc with the 1.6tdi engine.
I stay in scotland and arnold clark brought the 10' plate car up from workington in cumbria for me, as the car came with bluetooth and panoramic sunroof, fr style mirrors etc etc.
Personally I love the car. I used to own a Mk4 Golf which meant the world to me, although it was getting on a bit and I needed something more pratical on the fuel for my work.
I am planning on getting some cupra lamps, fr grill, wrap the rest of the roof black etc etc all the current popular mods on here.
But, before I spend any money on the car I think it is cursed and I am needing help.
After four days of recieving the car, the engine management light started to flash followed by my emissions light. Seat - under warranty went to change the part but had ordered in the wrong one so they diagnosed and cleaned one of my exhaust sensors. 3 days after that, the light was back on and the senor was completly replaced. Four hours after the senor being replaced the same lights and diagnosis was back - faulty emissions senor. Seat then took the car back, changed the second sensor and half an hour after they had replaced the second sensor the lights were back on. They have now said they will change the third one as that must be the faulty one. The car is safe to drive.
In addtion to this, the garage had not securely fitted my mudflap or engine cover back on leaving them to rattle about as the pleased.
FURTHERMORE, my spare key is for a TOTALLY different seat.
I would not advise anyone to purchase a car from arnold clark with clear remarks to avoid Arnold Clark Ford Rutherglen and Arnold Clark Seat Alexandra Parade.
Oh, and I had just recieved a fine for doing 89mph on a 70mph.
Ive had the car for 3 weeks. Help lol?! I love the car though, not the luck its brung me
