He wants 180 for the bumper which includes labour..a place quoted me 120, thought that was abit much so went to another guy and he said that's preety cheap and he can't beat it so he said he would match it, rang me today and said that he rang up the company who quoted me 120 and bollocked them for quoting me that low and they've denied quoting me that price and said that he would have to do it 180 because he wouldn't be making any money at all as the vinyl is expensive. So gonna do it myself with the help of fleshersboc, hopefully next Sat as I would have to order it first, fingers crossed

What a nob something like this happened to a mate of mine and he gets all quotes in writing now bet you'll do the same i could ring the bloke who did mine hes in hinkley not market harbrough and try get a lesser quote you could make him match? Lol

A quick update on my car, ordered a roll of carbon fibre vinyl over the weekend and gets here tomorrow. 3M vinyl isnt cheap! Also, finally ordered a set of fog and reg plate bulbs which gets here around Thurs so will put the fog lights on when doing the vinyl then by Saturday night before MOTD starts!!!!...I shall have a Cupra Boc on the drive!!

Thinking of getting some spacers as well to widen the stance abit more..prob order them on the weekend, which after that has been done, the aesthetics will have been completed and then hopefully move onto the 2 engine mods!

It is in uk isnt it? Still rare there easy once the bumpers off mate just the clips along the side that u have to like pull to unclip near the wheel arch where a bit of a bitch on mine lol

Well apparently someone did it in manchester but took it off when they sold it..yeah you're right, the first in the UK! lol

Haha its off theirs so i wouldn't class It ner its quite flexible just the top clips a bit stiff i kind of closed my eyes and hoped for the best, not that im suggesting you do that! haha

Well the vinyl came today as well as my fog and reg bulbs, fitted the reg bulbs in today and waited for it to get dark to see what it was like and I'm happy with them
Will fit in the bulbs for the fogs on Saturday when I apply the vinyl onto my bumper but in the meantime, here are some pics of the reg bulbs...not like you havent seen pics like these before lol

Indeed I have, and I'm loving it! , its a completely different car. The guys down at Jabba sport certainly know what they are doing . It pulls a lot better right through the rev range + on a run mpg is better and oil consumption seems to have decreased quite astonishingly (I will keep my eye on this over time though just to confirm).

Btw mate I'm selling my Forge induction kit, its unfortunate but I need the cash as I've got to take it for a service Friday and my Insurance is due 1st September lol

Honestley mate you will love yor car even more when its been remapped. I know you have your mind set on going to APR or REVO, but you should definately consider Jabbasport. They've got a great team down there that are always happy to help..

For a standard Remap (Revo/ APR equivalent) its £320. I had the custom remap done which was £420 but I got there at 8.30 and my car was on the Rolling Road till nearly 4pm with Kev constantly tring different mapping options to sit the requirements I wanted.

Have you seen the thread about the re-designed breather pipe for the sump as a solution to the oil consumption instead of changing piston rings?

Haha nope, its literally to pay the bills mate. I'm then just going to modify the OE airbox to improve airflow in that . is there anywhere on the forum to post about items for sale?

Where did you go to get the jabba map? The only reason Im deciding Revo or Apr is because they're nearer to me..If jabba is near me then ill consider them as well. How many horses you pushing out now?
