No still using the N75, i asked Will about the 3" intake and he said i would'nt notice any difference over the "R" T.I.P, although Rob did supply the 3" adaptor bit so i could still make one. Just been looking at the 3" down pipes, where did you get the parts to make yours?

Eh....I seen earlier spool of around 300rpm with logs to prove it...

The best person to speak to about tuning parts is Bill he love the ATP unit he really does....''Snigger''
I used a MBC & N75 with mine so it would spike @ 24psi and Hold 20psi to redline as i was on OEM rods at that time..

Also Everyone i know who has the GT2x Is using a 3'' tip Even when you buy the kit they supply a 3'' tip...The ''R'' tip just doesnt cut it...

I have the bits to make the 3" so i prob will, i just need the bit to mount the N75 and its ready to be fitted, i did think it was odd that a bigger intake wouldnt make that much differenc but what do i know. lol

laggy is an apt description for the power it makes..
hybrid, not seen one or logged it personally, so cannot comment... but it seems to make slightly more power, but the spool is the same.

each to their own..

dimtech rollers, were they inertia rollers or eddy braked ones do you know

most important thing is you enjoy it.. its your car

Sorry Bill i dont know anything about the rollers, i do love it , although i would like an earlier power delivery, especially if it cam in at 300rpm like Danny's did. ;)

It took some Messing around to get it to spool ''300'' rpm earlier looking at downpipe and new tip which is a few £££...

Ask rob as he did have some good goals with it spool but i wasn't sure if it was due to the old Jbs manifold...

Its a good little unit if you can live with it but like robs you know what it can make power wise....

Against owning it and a k04 car id go for the k04 due the spool but then it would need more parts...

What boost are you peaking & Running...

Its peaking 25psi and holding that in 4th and 5th. I did look at the K04 (and bought one) but as you say i need lots of other bits to fit it then Robs GT2X Hibrid came up and i couldnt refuse it.

Well i have at last got my internet back at home  I have been busy for the last couple of days, i have removed the lower grill and exposed 90% of my intercooler to a good air flow.

Photos not really showing much, it looks like it did before which is probably down to me i painting the intercooler black, i put the plate in the centre , i looked at it on the side but i hate it, i am planning on painting the plate on to the intercooler and seeing how i get on, i park next to the local police station every day and i am sure if there is a problem they will let me know ;).

I have also fitted the 3" custom t.I.P to the GT2X after some advice, i needed to do some mods to my bay though, it looks a bit taty but i will get some new silicon hoses to spruce it up, i am also polishing the inlet mani.

Well i have finished the bumper by fitting the mesh, it looks alot better than just a gap.

I have also tidied up the air feed and some of the smaller silicon.

No you can cut it out but you do need to take it off to cut the crash bar down so it doesn't show, i have got it down to a fine art now all off in 15 mins.:D

Sorry only just saw you asked me a question no I didn't cut the crash bar the mesh fits in the gap :) looks loads better mate

No worries Dan, i cut mine out and trimmed the bumper.
