Just a quick thanks to everyone who has contribuited to this thread. I have had fun playing with OBDEleven and have changed everything I wanted to.
The rear light bar on with DRLs is my favourite, along with the adjusting the lane assist to remembering the last setting. Still playing with the fake engine sound level, but suspect I'll be setting it to 0%.......
Great stuff!

Hi guys, new to this forum, can't wait for my new formentor 2023. 2.0 245hp that will be delivered around new year. I started to investigate about modifications and I am curious if coding affect car warranty void?

If so, in that case 12 months Pro plan of OBD11 Nextgen would be useless for if I want to keep car warranty, right?

It's a bit of a hot chestnut. You don't tell the dealer you have done it. The Pro plan is the best solution rather than the micro payment apps. QA aspects of them can lead to the car randomly programmed whilst coding with the Pro license you can reverse what you have done. Thus it's all under your control. Micropayment apps are black box solutions for people that want an easy life. They are put into the Obdeleven line up as an answer to other one click apps but can suffer from the same problem.

On my Ateca I keep off engine performance modifications. That would excite the dealer and it's warranty should something occur.

I just got the OBDEleven (and Formentor), but I have yet to try it.

There are some great contributions on here from other owners, which is good to see. I have a list of 'must-dos' but I am concerned about the impact in making certain changes have on insurance, especially if the changes affect the functioning (or not as the case may be) of supposed safety systems/functions.

Any opinions, or actual experiences?

Just as a hint, it is no longer anonymous. If push comes to shove, they will prove that you "manipulated" the control unit. With SFD anyway

Prior to SFD was more tricky. Still the PCP people that don't technically own the car, the finance house does in association with VAG, can only have a life of polishing their pride and joy (detailing) since everything else is breaking their agreement 🤣. Some humour there. What you mean it's not my car... err.. no. So those guys can get umpy about coding since they can't although one suspects 99% do or would like to.

2)i have seen at a lot of hybrid owners that at the battery status bar they have enable the % how can i activate this?
3)show the gears at the D mode D1,D2,D3 etc 1708963966568.png
