For iPhone you only real option is DashCommand and a wifi OBD2dongle off eBay. Or a Kiwi system...same difference. Much pricier.

I used the DashCommand logs in ScanXL, the PC software made by the same people (Palmers).

Still waiting for someone to come up with a way to read more PIDs from Leons because as it stand, the amount of things you can read is a bit poor

So you don't recommend me getting one then for the iPhone?

I only want to read fault codes.

Just ordered a ELM 327 OBD 2 WiFi thing from amazon and bought the Dash Command for my iPhone for £6.99.
My question is doese the ELM 327 drain the battery if left plugged in?
Dont want to mess around pulling the storage tray from dash every time I use it.
Cheers!

i got torque pro to work on wifi:)
cleared the Egr error

the device plugged into the obd port will be on, so will have to unplug it every time
i guess the current consumption is so low that can remain plugged for a few days without problems.
if one uses the car everyday shouldn't be a problem because battery get's charged in a few minutes to full :)

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has managed to get the Android Torque Pro app to show accurate turbo boost readings on a mk2 Leon Cupra. I can't get the app to show positive boost pressure, (although it does show vacuum ok). The gauge reaches 0 or there abouts but nothing further.

I have set the correct vehicle/displacement etc in settings & have set to read MAF rather than MAP (as advised by the app maker), but still no positive reading?

I know the turbo is working. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also can anyone confirm what the boost should be on a standard Leon Cupra mk2 and also with a stage 1?

I had email off the Torque app developer who said the app reads from the MAF sensor rather than MAP and that you have to manually adjust this in settings. It made no difference though as still not reading any boost?

Any suggestions anybody?

Also wondering what the boost pressure should be on standard 2009 Leon Cupra & after stage 1.

I know in my Mk1 LCR (a long time ago when Torque first came out) I had to manually adjust the boost reading by 14.7PSI (ie atmospheric pressure) it then read the correct boost all day long. Was quite good for seeing boost spikes etc.

not used it for a while since I moved to apple - the Wifi dongles were all really expensive back then, they seem to have come down in price a lot!

last nite we took the Cupra for a speed test and we had problems with the connection, the ELM keep disconnecting from the phone, i dont know why, we only did connect to it for a few minutes then connection dropped

on my FR instead works for hours :)

in dash command i had wifi connect to the elm then to put IP 198.168.0.10 to make the program work
otherwise it doesnt see the elm
after that it works, and now asks me to pay it :)
