Torque Pro - Cupra Mk2 2.0 tfsi

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has managed to get the Android Torque Pro app to show accurate turbo boost readings on a mk2 Leon Cupra. I can't get the app to show positive boost pressure, (although it does show vacuum ok). The gauge reaches 0 or there abouts but nothing further.

I have set the correct vehicle/displacement etc in settings & have set to read MAF rather than MAP (as advised by the app maker), but still no positive reading?

I know the turbo is working. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also can anyone confirm what the boost should be on a standard Leon Cupra mk2 and also with a stage 1?

I had email off the Torque app developer who said the app reads from the MAF sensor rather than MAP and that you have to manually adjust this in settings. It made no difference though as still not reading any boost?

Any suggestions anybody?

Also wondering what the boost pressure should be on standard 2009 Leon Cupra & after stage 1.

Smee, did you get this working. I was going to buy one to clear the airbag fault off mine, but there is no point if the app does not recognise the fault.

Let me know.

I just bought a torque pro app for my Samsung galaxy S4 and ELM 327. Works sweet, and shows the boost gauge also. The Free version does not show boost, but a lot of other data.
Definitely go for the Pro version, comes with a lot of features and it cheap.
Oh, and I drive 2009 Pre FL FR petrol Leon.
I also have OBD doctor for my E7-00 Nokia but its not that good and its costful. Shows data yes, but not boost. Its not even near compared to the torque app.

nope you need VAGCOM for that.

ill be honest its pretty much only useful for a Boost Gauge

Hi mate.

My friend had the same light on and my torque wouldnt clear it. I also have one of those obd11 readers from ebay £19 quid i think. It cleared it. I thing torque only reports engine errors, where the handheld reader has a menu for abs. If i rember correctly it was in there and cleared it.

cheers

Been a big fan of Torque since early release.
Used it on both my Ibiza Cupra MK4, Leon Cupra R Mk1 and now on my Leon FR MK2.
I've not configured it yet but on all previous cars I've setup MAF flow, Intake tempratures, boost pressure etc etc had them all on variable graphs.

Used it to clear faults on my LCR due to the decat,
Used it on an Audi (Can't remember the one, but it had the lambo engine) found faults on there and cleared those too.

Fantastic bit of kit, Very accurate, Never got to try its track recording/overlay however.

Guys just to clear up why its not bringing up error codes

Torque only scans the engine module for error codes

All the other modules it doesn't scan, so stuff like airbags, door locks etc it wont detect

Obvious the other sensors have been mapped out then.

I have used it on my Stage2+ PD170 done my Shark and Stage2+ 2.0TFSI done by APR with no issues
