I am looking at the Rev app in app store (IPhone)
It suggests that you buy a PLX Device from http://www.kiwiwifi.co.uk/product_i...-0029&osCsid=da738d45fdd728bd03e0b95a932b1293

Anyone got this one? Its expensive =[ £111

Let me know
Thanks

Depends what you want it for. I am very happy with DashCommand and my 13 pound cable off eBay. Total cost 43 pounds.
The Kiwi can do a bit more...maybe. I think it becomes most powerful when you buy the external sensors.

I don't remember where I got the cable from tbh. Just search eBay for OBD2 wifi. Check the earlier posts in this thread, there are a few links.

And yes it is iPhone.

I put some screenshots of my exact settings a few pages back. Have a peek.

The settings are car-specific. But the OBD2 and DashCommand "should" work on any car with an OBD2 port

PMd you Will.

Yes I have the WiFi cable working perfectly for iPhone using DashCommand. That's the recommended way of doing it.
I think Craig on here has gotten my old Bluetooth module working on his jailbroken iphone with DashCommand...but that's a right pain :)

Plug in device, green light on left stays on (in the Wi of WiFi)

Connect to CLKDevice:

Green light on right flashes (in Fi part of WiFi)

Settings:

Then just open DashCommand and click Connection. Might take a few tries and unplugs/replug/reconnect. 90% of the time it works right away.

As for your PM...
I havent tried leaving it connected all night tbh. The power consumption should be pretty low so I wouldn't think it would drain the battery. Its so easy to plug/unplug that I just unplug it and use it whenever I need it

Tempted over using VCDS cables for £20. Just want a fault code reading really.

Are these iPhone's JB'd?
