My android one arrived yesterday and works fine with Torque app. Not tried it with my Tablet, but can't see a problem. Going out later so will have a play with the features :D

My Wifi lead arrived today. After reading various things with regards to the 2 iphone apps (dasscommand and REV) i opted for dashcommand purely on the basis that it was still being supported by the developers. Rev's last update was back in 2010 and the developers are now "missing in action"

So after 10 minutes of fiddling and trying to get my iphone to connect automatically with no success. I tried static ip address. This worked.

I then went on a 30 mile round trip. I need to do some more research because at one point according to the app my boost peaked at 5bar. If you change the dash layout it becomes very laggy.

i need to figured this out and getting proper figures reported.

No. I did read somewhere that that would only work on a standard car and not a remapped car. Not sure how true that is.

Would you still recommend it?
I'm still after one.
If you do recommend it, pass the eBay ID please!!

Cheers

Not sure yet. Still researching it. Its not as simple as plug it in and all the figures are correct. Just reading through 100's of posts on the dashcommand forum.

There forum is midfield of information to be able to get the app to work. There is a lot of setting that needs adding to the app to get the readouts you require. Still having major issues with being able to read the boost pressure. I think at one point on way to work I reached 70 odd psi.

hmm... much appreciated for the work testing it. It does seem so far like I'm better of keeping my 45 pounds in my pocket. Which means I've wasted 34gbp on DashBoard...but hey ho, live and learn.

Do the torque and bhp readings work for anyone using the Torque app on adroid?

They work for me (paid version).

You have to set a profile up for your car, it need to know the weight etc.

It then uses things like the accelerometer to calculate the torque and bhp.

Yeah I managed to get it to work. Well sort of.

Have you managed to get the boost to work accurately
