Sooo... What was the outcome? :p

I've got both Dashcommand and Rev on my iPhone.. Just didn't know what OBD2 To get? Bluetooth or Wifi. If Bluetooth works easy peasy then i'll go for that. :)

Go for the WiFi...definitely.
I haven't gotten the BT one working (yet). And even if I do...it will have taken
1) Jailbreaking iPhone (with all risks involved....already crashed my bluetooth)
2) Buying the app that installs the better BT stack
3) Much time taken to get all of this working

So... don't do as I do :p

Anybody want an ELM327 BT module?

iPhone is already jailbroken :D, reason for getting both the App's.. But i thought seem's as i saved money there i could go for Wifi. But if Bluetooth was easy (Which with lots of searching really seems hit or miss) I think Wifi is the way.. Any reccomendations? Or any will do the trick? :)

Me me me me! ;)

What do you want for it?

Not discussing sales on here!
Drop me a note at shnazzle at gmail dot com

Not much of a sale really anyway. I'll just chalk it off to a lesson learned and please a fellow forum member :)

Quick update, I have ordered the Android ELM 327, now it does say it works with Android phones and iOs phones(Apple)

the best bit about this is I have 2 phones anyway, one is a Samsung Galaxy S (Android) and the other is a iPhone 4S (Apple)

its hopefully arriving on the 3rd/4th so I shall test it with both phones and let you know, total cost so far is £16.75, im using the free Torque app on the Android and the Rev on the iPhone if it works.

That's the exact one I have and am not using!! ya muppet...could have had it for free :)
 ..I did offer.

Anyway, it does NOT work for iPhone. But, it does clearly show that the description at the top is very misleading because I thought it said it now worked with iPhone as well.

The data should be very accurate, it uses the OBDII output of various sensors and not the phones accelerometer etc.

At least Torque does on Android.

Anybody got an iPhone wifi one?
Just not sure which one to get off fleabay as there are so many.

Will any of them do?
Most are around 40gbp but then there are also 125gbp ones. What's the diff?
