Don’t know whether you’ve found the same with yours also being at estate, but when I’m “making progress” the chassis flex at the rear is ridiculous - I can look in my rear view mirror and literally see the back end twist out of square!

I considered a K brace, but as I regularly put the back seats down I don’t want the hassle of having to remove it every time I need to use the full load space. So I’ve just picked up one of these bad boys:

@TripleBob I hear some flex due to the panoramic roof flexing a little bit haha, its especially noticable with speed humps which I take diagonally. Please let me know how the bracing works out, looks promising!

When I bough the car, it was no secret that the brakes needed to be done. My last cars have had Brembo discs but for the Cupra I wanted to try another brand. Friends told me to go for Zimmermann, so I did

Was able to source 4 discs + brake pads for 413 euro including shipment. That is a steal! Unfortunately, the rear brake pads did not fit, so I had to source another brake pad set.

This is how the front discs were looking

The amount of rust in the disc was alarming

The caliper looks good

The rust was also visible on the inside

Both rear calipers look like this. So they both need a little cleaning and paint

The rear was rusty af, so new backing plates will be mounted.

Same goes for the arms, they are rusty and will be replaced.

For me, this feels like a restriction, so I just removed it. This way, air can also find its way easier into the intake

I love these stickers, I forgot to stick this on after replacing the serpentine belt and the belt tensioner

I love that you can only see a slight hint of the front upper strut brace Do you feel any difference with it fitted? Would be almost invisible on my red wagon 😎
