hmmm... looking on some of the ibiza threads (and assuming they are the same/similar to the Leon) then you'll need a 330ohm 10watt resistor for each valve removed. how ever i dont know how accurate that will be for the Leon. will need multi meter testing. however... if these can be remove without the eml coming on then i cant see the point?? i'll look into it any how.

which bit... better not be the N249 bit?? if so then read back the last 9 pages as thats been done to death already... though personally i'd not use the fpr vacume as its only got a tiny port to the manifold. better using the throttle body one.

after a good run today i does make the throttle sharper :) good cheap mod i'd say!

just done mine today, took out for a short drive, no fault codes, tbh not noticed much difference yet... will the ecu adapt?

also i followed the lc guide, the 2 pipes, 1 from the vac resorvoir was a metal pipe, looks like rubber on the pics, as was the one that originally went into the dv top?

make any difference mine were metal?? should be the same shunt it?

anyways, drives fine no fault codes and no hissing so we shall see if it improves?

Going to be doing mine this week but just a few little questions. Mine is a cupra not a lCR so will 1 metre of the 4mm pipe be enough?
Also seen on a few pics in this thread that some people have the dv sitting sideways compared to standard. I want to change the position of mine (not relocate) so its not sticking so far up as with the forge dv im finding that it up against the engine cover and think thats why im getting a low boost reading (leaking off the top pipe). It looks from the diagrams as if people have just turned the dv 90 degrees clockwise?! Is it this simple?

Hi

Yes the 007 can be reversed without any issues.

1m of pipe should be enough, I bought way to much.

Update: I just measured mine and it is roughtly 70cm including the spur to the FPR

after a bit of driving, it does seem to boost quicker, my boost reading has gone up also.... from 1340mb to 1415mb

strange, why would that be?

did mine yesterday, car seems to be running as smoothly as before.

Not sure I like the new DV noise though, very loud and sounds odd

just a quick question about holding the pipes in place and that are cable ties strong enough! if thay do pop off is there any major probs!!
